Car Review: Fiat 500 Abarth Coupe
It was love at first sight when our latest member of the team saw the Fiat 500 Abarth Coupe and to be frank, it's been difficult to get him away from the car and do some work. Though we can't really blame him considering that the Abarth being more affordable than the Mini cooper and alot more gregarious than the Toyota Yaris is great a car to own for all you Jozi commuters.
The car offers you a mix of economy and style but a word of caution, don't be put cheated into thinking that this is just a small car trust us when we tell you it has a big personality.
The Fiat 500 Abarth is available in both coupe and convertible body styles with a standard 1.4 litre engine producing 160 horse power allowing the car to get from 0 to 60 mph in 10.5 seconds. Fuel consumption is sitting at 12 to 15 kms to the litre (28mpg) making this little car a great first car or town runner.
If you have ever had the displeasure of trying to find parking in a mall over the weekends in Johannesburg then this car will give you an edge because its size allows you to park it in places where most would completely ignore. The car seats 2 people comforably and seems to have much more space inside than you would think.
Pop in and take the car for a test drive, it's the only way to truly understand the beast that lies within.
