In 1807, Francois Isaac de Rivaz designed the first car that was powered by an internal combustion engine running on fuel gas. in 1886 German inventor Karl Benz created an automobile that featured wire wheels with a four-stroke engine fitted between the rear wheels. He called it the 'Benz Patent Motorwagen'.

The car does 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds, has a 7.0 liter LS7 Turbocharged V8 Twin Turbo V8 Engine producing 1244 hp. The track, NASA runway in Florida, is only 5.18 kms long which limited the top speed to 270 mph.
